Auto Moderation
Auto moderation reacts to messages the moment they're sent — filtering spam, invite links, and unwanted content without a staff member needing to be online. It's the layer that catches routine problems so your human moderators only need to step in for judgment calls.
What it covers
- Spam and repeated-message detection with configurable thresholds.
- Invite link and external link filtering, with the option to allow specific domains.
- Automatic message deletion for content that matches your filters.
- Adaptive slowmode that reacts to how busy a channel currently is, configured alongside Automation.
How to configure it
- Open the Automod section of the dashboard for your server.
- Enable the filters you want (spam, invites, links) and set exceptions for staff or trusted roles.
- Choose whether matches are deleted silently or trigger a warning.
- Save — filters apply to new messages immediately.
TipAdd your staff and bot roles to the automod exception list first, so pinned announcements and bot messages don't get caught by your own filters.
