Dashboard guide
Everything you can do with a slash command, you can usually also do from the dashboard — without memorizing syntax. Here's how it's organized.
Who can access it
You need Manage Server permission in a given Discord server to configure it from the dashboard — the same permission Discord itself requires for its own server settings. Signing in shows you every server you're in, but you'll only be able to open the ones you actually manage.
How saving works
Each section saves independently — changing a value in Moderation and clicking Save only submits that section, not the whole page. You'll see an immediate success or error toast, and the page updates in place without a full reload, so newly added rows (a new automod filter, a new ticket category) appear right away.
If a save fails, the dashboard shows a generic error rather than a raw database or Discord message — that's intentional, so internal errors never leak details. If a save keeps failing, check that Ovels still has the Discord permission the feature needs before assuming the dashboard itself is broken.
The live music dashboard
The Music page is different from the rest of the dashboard — it's a real-time control surface, not a settings form. It mirrors whatever Ovels is currently playing in your server's voice channel and updates continuously, so a track skipped from Discord shows up on the dashboard within a fraction of a second, and vice versa.
